tvN’s new Kdrama “Marry My Husband” (written by Shin Yoo Dam, directed by Park Won Kook), which will premiere on 1 January 2024 at 8:50 p.m., has released a teaser video.
“Marry My Husband” is a fantasy drama in which a woman who was murdered after witnessing her best friend’s affair with her husband is sent back in time 10 years, when she was dating Min-hwan. Determined to change her life, she decides to make Soo-min marry Min-hwan.
In the released video, Kang Ji-won (Park Min-young) appears to be walking down the aisle to a wedding march and Park Min-hwan (Lee Yi-kyung) is excitedly waiting across the aisle.
However, Kang Ji-won in a black dress appears holding hands with Jung Soo-min (Song Ha-yoon) in a wedding dress, providing a twist.
The coldness of Kang Ji-won’s eyes is overwhelming as she tells her best friend, Jung Soo-min, “Congratulations, you’re marrying the trash I threw away.”
As she turns around and smiles at the two people who have handed over her fate, her beaming face foreshadows an exhilarating sense of revenge.
Kang Ji-won’s steps lead her to Yoo Ji-hyuk (Na In-woo), who has been watching all this. Holding hands and locking eyes, they stand opposite Park Min-hwan and Jung Soo-min, a perfect pair.
The relationship between Kang Ji-won, who has left her first life behind to pursue her destiny, and Yoo Ji-hyuk, who fully supports her, raises questions about their carefully planned revenge.
The teaser video, which captures the intersecting destinies of the four people on the road decorated with blood red flowers, is raising expectations for the first episode of “Marry My Husband.”
