Lee Se Young of MBC’s new K-drama “The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract” has unveiled a new teaser poster for the fantasy romance drama that transcends time and space.
Set to premiere in November following “My Dearest” Part 2, MBC’s new korean drama “The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract” (written by Ko Nam Jung, directed by Park Sang Hoon) tells the story of a 19th-century Confucian girl, Park Yeon Woo, and a 21st-century emotionless chaebol, Kang Tae Ha, who enter into a contract marriage in 2023 Korea.
The drama is based on the Naver web novel of the same name by Kim Na Ul. The kdrama is expected to provide a different kind of excitement through the combined efforts of popular youth actors Lee Se Young, Bae In Hyuk, Joo Hyun Young, and Yoo Sun Ho with solid acting skills, writer Ko Nam Jung with delicate writing armed with fresh imagination, and director Park Sang Hoon with sensible directing skills.
Lee Se Young plays Park Yeon Woo, a Confucian girl from the Joseon Dynasty who becomes entangled in a contract marriage with Kang Tae Ha (Bae In Hyuk) in 2023 Korea.
In the drama, Park is transported through time and space when she loses her husband on their wedding night and is abducted by a mysterious man and thrown into a well. Lee Se Young challenges a different acting transformation as Park Yeon Woo, who confronts the whirlwind of fate with dignity and love.
On the 10th of October, a ‘teaser poster’ highlighting the ‘double charm’ of the drama, which combines the old-fashioned and modern atmosphere of “The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract”, has been released and is attracting attention.
The teaser poster shows Park Yeon Woo, a Joseon Confucian girl played by Lee Se Young, standing in front of the palace gate and at the border between 19th century Joseon and 21st century modern city buildings.
In particular, Park Yeon Woo (Lee Se Young) exudes a sophisticated charm with her off-white jerkin, red skirt, and tightly braided bun.
In addition, Park Yeon Woo is gazing at the inside of the gate with her clear eyes, where she can see the sights of 19th-century Joseon, while simultaneously trying to step out into the 21st-century modern world outside the gate.
In addition, butterflies are flying on either side of Park Yeon-woo, creating a mysterious mood and raising expectations for the fantasy romance drama.
It will be interesting to see where Park Yeon Woo is looking for, and what kind of hidden story the Joseon Confucian girl has.
The production team said, “The ‘teaser poster’ focuses on the changes in time and space inside and outside the palace gate to intuitively show that Park Yeon Woo, the protagonist of “The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract,” is traveling in time.”
“Please look forward to our K-drama which will captivate viewers’ hearts with its colourful visuals and immersive narrative while crossing the past and present.”
MBC’s new Korean drama “The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract” will premiere in November.
