Yun Ji On was the real killer of Song Ji Hyun.
On the 14th episode of tvN’s Monday-Tuesday drama “My Lovely Liar,” which aired on the 12th, Mok Sol Hee (played by Kim So Hyun) revealed that Jo Deuk Chan (Yun Ji On) was the real killer of Choi Eom Ji (Song Ji Hyun).
In today’s episode, Jo Deuk Chan said, “Jae Chan has probably arrived there by now. He went to Hakcheon to turn himself in. I’m sorry. I was actually hiding him. I convinced him to turn himself in. I thought you might get framed again. That’s why I persuaded him,” he revealed.
Kim Do Ha (Hwang Min Hyun) was furious, saying, “Why didn’t you do anything all this time? You watched me from the sideline as I hid and got framed as a murderer. And you say you persuaded him now?” Jo Deuk Chan said, “Jae Chan asked me last time. He asked me who I’d save if you and he drowned. I didn’t answer then, but I’d save you. I’d save you without hesitating even for a second,” he confessed.
Mok Sol Hee told Jo Deuk Chan that he was telling the truth, and Jo Deuk Chan confessed, “I thought about this a lot before deciding. But he’s still my brother. I’m sorry I let him hide. I’ll get going now.”
True to his word, Jo Jae Chan (Nam Hyun Woo) confessed to killing Choi Eom Ji. However, Lee Kang Min (Seo Ji Hoon) was suspicious of Jo Jae Chan’s change in the statement and told Mok Sol Hee about the suspicious circumstances.
Both Lee Kang Min and Mok Sol Hee were suspicious of Jo Deuk Chan turning his brother in for his friend, later Mok Sol Hee met with Jo Jae Chan in person to confirm if he indeed killed Eom Ji. During their conversation, Mok Sol Hee confirmed that Jae Chan’s story about killing Choi Eom Ji was false. Mok Sol Hee said, “If Kim Do Ha and I were drowning, you’d save Kim Do Ha, right? Actually, Jo Deuk Chan’s answer was ‘Yes. You’re right.’ Jo Deuk Chan really did save only Kim Do Ha. You still don’t get it? You’re locked up here alone.” she taunted, and he shot back, “No, I’ll get out soon.”
Mok Sol Hee lied, saying, “Additional evidence to prove that you’re the culprit was found, too.” And Jo Jae Chan said, “What? What did they find? What is it? It’s not mine. Hey, I’m not the culprit. How could something like that pop up? That’s my brother’s. It’s my brother’s.
Eventually, Mok Sol Hee was able to convince Jo Jae Chan to tell her where the evidence was hidden. It was in Jo Deuk Chan’s office. She broke into his office, found the evidence, and realized that he was in love with Kim Do Ha.
At this point, Mok Sol Hee ran into Jo Deuk Chan. She mentioned him being in love with Kim Do Ha, and he begged, “Yes. You’re right. I like Doha. I admit everything. But Sol Hee, please don’t tell Do Ha that.
Kim Do Ha said, “What are you talking about, brother? Is that why you’ve been by my side? and Jo Deuk Chan was shocked. “Then is that why you did that to Eom Ji,” Kim Do Ha said, and Jo Deuk Chan could not utter a word and quickly ran away.
Lee Kang Min caught him as he was leaving the building and said, “I heard you forced your brother, Jo Jae Chan, to make a false confession. Is that true?” He said, “You’ll have to come to the station with us first.” Jo Deuk Chan before the police could put him in their car, got free and fled in a car and intentionally caused a traffic accident to end his life.
