Exciting New Posters Revealed For “Connection” With Ji-Sung As The Lead Character

SBS’ new drama “Connection” starring Ji Sung has released two main posters.

Connection” is a crime investigation thriller about a group of friends whose dysfunctional friendship is revealed as they investigate the death of a high school friend who died leaving behind a 5 billion won insurance policy.

“Connection” is the brainchild of writer Lee Hyun, who showed a different empathy story in ‘Diary of a Prosecutor’, and director Kim Moon-kyo, who showed off his meticulous direction in ‘Trolley’.

The K-drama stars Ji Sung, who is breaking new ground with each project with his acting skills, as well as Jeon Mi-Ddo, Kwon Yul, and Kim Kyung-Nam.

Jang Jae-Kyung, played by Jisung, is an ace detective with a strong reputation within the police force as the captain of the drug team of the Ahnhyeon police station, but he is forcibly made addicted to drugs by someone.

The main poster shows Jang Jae-Kyung in a dark police station, eyeing a mysterious pill, and arouses curiosity.

In particular, the main poster, which is composed of full shots and close-ups, emphasizes Jang Jae-kyung’s (Ji Sung) external and internal dilemmas.

From a distance, Jang Jae-Kyung rests his chin on his desk at the police station and stares warily at the pill, but up close, he can’t take his eyes off the pill and looks nervous, suggesting an intense clash between reason and instinct.

This raises the question of whether Jang Jae-Kyung, who has been trapped and fatally vulnerable from the start, will be able to hide his drug addiction and find the real culprit in the evil connection.

The production team said, “Jisung is a meticulous actor who never wastes anything. He proved his meticulousness in the main poster scene and proved his quality.”

“‘Connection’ is a drama that contains all three elements of an unconventional drama: the struggle of the protagonist, a heart-pounding narrative, and an intense mystery. Please look forward to the first episode,” he said.

Meanwhile, SBS’ new Korean drama “Connection” will premiere on 24 May 2024 at 10 pm.
