On the 9th episode of MBC’s Korean drama “A Good Day to Be a Dog” (directed by Kim Dae-woong, written by Baek In-ah) broadcast on the 6th, the relationship between “Sanshin” Bo Gyeom (played by Lee Hyun-woo) and mystery transfer student Jia (played by Kim Yi-kyung) begins to stir.
In the previous episode, it was revealed that Bo Gyeom was the sanshin who placed a curse on Hae-na’s (Park Gyu-young) family in the past, turning them into dogs.
It was also revealed that Bo-gyeom has a troubled past, as he looks sad when he sees a portrait of Cho-Young (Kim Yi-Kyung), who looks exactly like Ji-Ah. Ji-Ah, on the other hand, is full of faith, and while praying, she remembers Bo-gyeom’s secret room and a short memory involving Cho-young.
In the meantime, the released stills show Bo-Gyeom and Ji-Ah having a meaningful conversation alone at school. In one still, Bo Gyeom smiles at Ji-Ah, but his expression quickly changes.
In another still, Ji-Ah is seen lying in the nurse’s office. She’s fainting and Bo Gyeom is at her side, looking on with an expressionless face.
Ji-Ah reportedly passes out after witnessing the shocking news about Bo Gyeom. When Ji-Ah wakes up, her classmate Yul (Yoon Hyun-soo) appears at her side. Ji-Ah’s confused emotions show on her face, but Yul remains silent and unable to take his eyes off her.
Meanwhile, “A Good Day to Be a Dog” will air at 9pm on 6 November 2023.
