Actor Yoon Jong-seok adds life to ‘Like Flowers in Sand’.

In the ENA Korean drama “Like Flowers in Sand,” which aired on the 3rd of January, Min Hyun Wook (played by Yoon Jong Suk) was portrayed as a man who infiltrated the people of Geosan with goodwill, but immediately triggered the police.

With the deaths of Choi Chil-sung and Coach Yeon occurring one after the other, there is a serious crisis in Geosan, and Min Hyun-wook has travelled from Seoul to Geosan to solve the case.

Yoon Jong-seok captivated the audience with his perfect transformation as Hyun-wook, a police officer of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Department’s Investigation Division 3, who conducts undercover investigations, including pretending to be married to Yoo-kyung (played by Lee Ju-myung), a senior police officer.

Yoon Jong-seok has the visuals of a character with a head-to-toe ruggedness, but with his quick wit, he melts in among the merchants of Geosan Market and brings the character to life, garnering great response.

Even though he is secretly investigating, he wears an expensive watch and adorned himself with luxury items, saying, maximizing the unusual charm of Hyun-wook, who is a ‘boy from the bone’, by naturally saying, “An unemployed person with a lot of money, a fashionable unemployed person, that’s the concept I came up with.”

Yoon Jong-seok‘s twinkling eyes, which alternate between a gentle smile and sharp charisma, were enough to draw attention.

The scene where he comes to a small town and bickers with Yoo-kyung, claiming to be upset, but turns 180 degrees when he enters the Geosan market is one of the laughing points.

Yoon Jong-suk shows a different side to his character, showing a bright and cheerful side through Hyun-wook, who adapts to a rural village faster than anyone else despite his dislike of Geosan.

As the mystery of Geosan remains unsolved, it will be interesting to see how he will lead the drama in the future, as he enhances the charm of the handsome police officer with his excellent acting skills.
