Coupang Play’s “Boyhood” has released a trailer showing Kyung Tae (played by Lee Si Woo), who has recovered his six-day memory, and Byung Tae (played by Im Si Wan), who still thinks he is the Asan White Tiger, engaging in a nervous battle over Sun Hwa (played by Kang Hye Won).
In the previously released episode 4, the real Asan White Tiger, Kyung Tae, who regained his memory, appeared in front of the fake Asan White Tiger, Byung Tae, who asked for help from the Nongo gang to save money for a date with Sun Hwa.
In the trailer for episodes 5 and 6 released on the same day, Kyung Tae, who has fallen in love with Byung Tae’s girlfriend Sun Hwa at first sight, launches a bold affectionate offensive. Blinded by jealousy, Byung-tae takes out his anger on an onion, saying, “How dare you look down on the woman of the Asan White Tiger?”
After winning the farming war for supremacy in Buyeo, Byung-tae continues to pretend to be the Asan White Tiger, hiding his dumb identity by asking, “Do you know why I am the Asan White Tiger?” However, when he recovers his memories, Kyung-tae asks him a meaningful question, “Don’t you remember? Who is the Asan White Tiger?”, raising questions about the future of their relationship.
“Boyhood” tells the story of Byung-tae, an Onyang nerd whose lifelong goal is to fit in, who overnight becomes “White Tiger (best fighter in Asan)” in 1989. It will release episodes 5 and 6 on the 8th December at 8pm.
