“Concrete Utopia” Has Surpassed 2 Million Viewers

The movie “Concrete Utopia” (directed by Uhm Tae-hwa) surpassed 2 million viewers at 11:36 a.m. on the 15th, seven days after its release.

“Concrete Utopia” is a disaster drama that tells the story of a group of survivors who gather in the only remaining imperial palace apartment in Seoul, which was devastated by a major earthquake. After mobilizing 230,000 viewers on its opening day on the 9th, the film has continued to rise at the box office as time goes on, recording 280,000 viewers on Monday, August 14, the second week of its release. As a result, it is showing a solid upward trend, exceeding 1 million viewers on the 4th day of release and 2 million viewers on the 7th day of release.

In addition, the overwhelming performances of the actors, the immersive plot, and the well-organized direction have created a special fun that creates new interpretations the more you watch it.

On August 15, the Concrete Utopia stage greeting was held at CGV Yongsan I-Park Mall in Seoul.
