MBC’s “My Dearest” Part 2 was the most buzzed-about drama last week (9 October to 15 October).
This week, “My Dearest” Part 2 rose to No. 1 on Good Data Corporation’s list of the TV dramas that generated the most buzz.
The company determines each week’s rankings by collecting data from news articles, blog posts, online communities, videos, and social media about dramas that are either currently airing or set to air soon.
Not only did “My Dearest” Part 2 top the list of most buzzworthy dramas, but its stars also topped this week’s list of the most buzzworthy K-drama cast members. Ahn Eun Jin took the No. 1 spot and Namgoong Min No. 2.
“Destined with You” stars Rowoon and Jo Bo Ah dropped two places in this week’s actor list at No. 3 and No. 4 respectively, the series also dropped one position to No. 3 on the drama list. Supporting actress Girl’s Day’s Yura climbed the actor list to take the No. 8 position.
JTBC’s “Strong Girl Namsoon” rose to No. 2 on the drama list, with leading lady Lee Yoo Mi ranking No. 5 on the actor list. A cameo appearance from Park Bo Young was enough for her to take the No. 10 spot.
tvN’s “Twinkling Watermelon” dropped in the drama list at No. 5, and stars Choi Hyun Wook and Ryeoun also dropped in actor rankings at No. 7 and No. 9 respectively.
SBS’s “The Escape of the Seven” dropped one place at No. 6, followed by tvN’s “The Arthdal Chronicles 2” at No. 7.
Finally, ENA’s new crime drama “Evilive” debuted at No. 9 on the drama list.
