JTBC’s Kdrama “Great Problem Solver” also known as The Greatest Fixer (written by Jung Hee-sun / directed by Park Jin-seok) is a drama about Korea’s best divorce lawyer, Kim Sara (played by Lee Ji-Ah), and a brilliant lawyer, Dong Ki-Joon (played by Kang Ki-Young), who are unafraid to seek justice.
Actors Lee Ji-Ah and Kang Ki-Young, who have shown their unique character interpretations in various works, are expected to work together for the first time. In the midst of this, ‘Great Problem Solver’ has confirmed its first broadcast on 31 January 2024.
In the drama, Lee Ji-Ah plays Kim Sara, the team leader of the divorce settlement company ‘Solution’. After losing everything overnight due to her husband’s betrayal, Kim Sara becomes a divorce settlement specialist who punishes unfaithful spouses and puts an end to troubled marriages.
Kang Ki-young plays Dong Ki-joon, a brilliant lawyer who is Kim Sara’s business partner and advisor to ‘Solution’. Nicknamed the Shepherd, he has an extraordinary persistence and touch that led him to top the prosecution rate among his peers in the Western District Prosecutors’ Office.
Kang Ki-young’s acting transformation will be interesting to watch, as he will have perfectly transform into Dong Ki-joon’s character, who exudes confidence in his jovial manner of speaking.
As such, “The Greatest Fixer” will be a collaboration between Korea’s best divorce solver and a quirky lawyer who will provide customised solutions for those struggling with troubled marriages. In particular, while solving cases one by one, there is a strange atmosphere between Kim Sara and Dong Ki-joon, and their chemistry is expected to provide everything from a tender romance to a refreshing revenge drama.
