“Lovely Runner” Epiosde 7 Recap | Im Sol And Ryu Sun Jae Meet Again 15 Years Later

“Lovely Runner” Byun Woo-Seok and Kim Hye-Yoon reunited for the first time in 15 years on the Han River bridge in 2023.

Episode 7 of tvN’s Korean drama “Lovely Runner” showed us the reunion of Ryu Sun Jae (Byun Woo Suk) and Im Sol (Kim Hye Yoon) after 15 years as Im Sol returned in 2023.

The 19-year-old Im Sol is faced with the fate of a repeat of the Reservoir incident that happened in the past.

“It wasn’t a car accident, I can get away, I know everything, I can change it,” Im Sol said, but when the events of 15 years ago repeated themselves on a set date on 1 September, she struggled to escape them.

At that time, Ryu Sun-jae felt ominous when Im Sol disappeared with only an umbrella, so he remembered her words and rushed to the Reservoir, where he dramatically saved Im Sol.

However, as she shouted “I’m alive,” she surprised the viewers by jumping back to 1 January 2023.

In 2023, the 34-year-old Im Sol is back, and a lot has changed.

The formerly wheelchair-bound, Im Sol is now living the life of a career woman as a film company employee, which she has always dreamed of.

“Fate has changed again,” she said with joy, and after confirming that Ryu Sun-Jae was still alive and well, she was relieved, saying, “Thank You Sun Jae.”

Afterward, Im Sol went to the Han River Bridge as she had made a promise to Ryu Sun Jae in the past, but Ryu Sun Jae was not there, and the place where they had buried the time capsule had been replaced by a large tree and a sidewalk block.

Im Sol was thrilled that Ryu was still alive, even though she hadn’t met him.

But as fate would have it, she and Ryu were mistaken for fraudsters and stalkers.

The comedic timing between the two was hilarious, with Im Sol wearing the same outfit as the stalker who had been following Ryu Sun-jae’s personal life and taken to the police station.

Meanwhile, Ryu Sun-Jae was mistaken for a scammer trying to get a piece of the action by impersonating a top star.

As Ryu Sun Jae filed a complaint against Im Sol, viewers’ attention was drawn to when the misunderstanding between the two would be resolved.

In the midst of this, Im Sol saw Ryu Sun Jae’s advert on the billboard and said, “Thank you. It’s Sun Jae, thank you for being alive.

I’m so happy that you’re alive. I’m so happy,” and then burst into tears, saying, “But it’s true, I miss you.”

At the same time, a smile spread across Ryu Sun-jae’s lips as he took out a picture of the couple that he kept in his wallet, showing that the two of them hadn’t forgotten and missed each other.

At the end of the drama, Im Sol was heartbroken when Eclipse’s concert was postponed.

When the circumstances of Ryu Sunjae’s death 15 years ago were repeated, especially when it was pouring with snow on the day of the concert, she headed to the Han River Bridge with a ‘no way’ feeling.

Im Sol called out to him, “Don’t come. At that moment, an unsaved number popped up on Im Sol’s mobile phone, and when she answered it, Ryu Sun Jae’s voice said, “It’s me,” and Ryu Sun Jae appeared behind her in astonishment, causing the viewer’s heart to sink.

The two fatefully reunited after 15 years on the promised Han River bridge.
