Q. All episodes of “The Impossible Heir” have been released. What are your thoughts?

First of all, I was glad to take on new challenges through “The Impossible Heir.”

While working on “The Impossible Heir,” I felt like I saw a side of myself that I didn’t know, and it was a time filled with wonderful memories, making me even happier.

Q. If there’s a standout scene that Lee Jae-wook chose from “The Impossible Heir,” what would it be?

The “Hotel Sweet Room Murder Case” stands out the most.

It’s a pivotal event in the storyline, and from the details of shooting on set to rehearsals and actual filming, it was the scene where we put in the most effort.

Everyone, including fellow actors, the director, and everyone on set, meticulously prepared and brought the situation to life, which left a strong impression.

Q. At the beginning of “The Impossible Heir,” the relationship between “Kang In-ha” and “Han Tae-oh” starts as partners rather than friends. After experiencing “Kang In-ha’s” betrayal, did “Han Tae-oh” continue to think of “Kang In-ha” as a friend or partner?

From that point on, there was no lingering attachment to either friendship or partnership. After “In-ha’s” betrayal, they each went their separate ways.

Q. Among the numerous choices “Han Tae-oh” makes in “The Impossible Heir,” if there’s one decision you think is the right one, what would it be?

I think every moment is the right choice for “Tae-oh.”

While it’s impossible to say he always made the correct decision, ultimately, because “Tae-oh” achieved the dream he wanted, I believe each moment’s choice was the right judgment.

Q. Actor Lee Jae-wook is often associated with the phrase “blood, sweat, and tears.” Similarly, “Han Tae-oh” was a character filled with “blood, sweat, and tears.” Were there challenging moments while portraying “Han Tae-oh”?

There were scenes in which “Tae-oh” acted impulsively and experienced a wide range of emotions.

Each scene had a different atmosphere and emotions, so it was challenging to convey varying emotional intensity to viewers.

Q. “Han Tae-oh” reaches the top by entering the 151st floor of Kang Oh Group. If we metaphorically compare this to Lee Jae-wook’s life, how many floors have Lee Jae-wook climbed?

If the 151st floor represents the summit, I’d say I’ve only reached the lobby. It feels like I’ve been gradually climbing up from the basement until now.

Q. Having gone through trials and tribulations, what message would you like to convey to “Han Tae-oh” as Lee Jae-wook?

I believe that life is about people meeting, organizing situations, and living day by day. Therefore, I’d like to tell “Tae-oh” that you cannot plan what your heart should do.

Even if “Tae-oh” had been a bit more human, I don’t think it would have hindered his work.

Q. Through “The Impossible Heir,” what growth have you, as actor Lee Jae-wook or as a person, gained?

While we live our daily lives, we face choices that may or may not be the right answers. However, I’ve come to realize that every moment of those choices is shaping who I am now. The message from “The Impossible Heir” has left a positive impact on me as well.

Q. “The Impossible Heir” will continue streaming all episodes on Disney+. Lastly, any message for viewers both domestically and internationally?

I want to express my gratitude to all the viewers who loved “The Impossible Heir” and “Han Tae-oh.”

Please continue to show interest, and look forward to my future projects.
