Kim Da Mi and Son Suk Ku have been confirmed to star in the upcoming Kdrama “Nine Puzzles” by the “Narco-Saints” director.
In April, Disney + confirmed the casting by sharing a photo of both the stars with the Yoon Jong Bin.
The Kdrama will premiere in 2025.
“Nine Puzzles” is a mystery thriller that follows Yi Na(Kim Da Mi), a profiler who is the only witness of a case from 10 years ago. Detective Han Saem (Son Suk Ku) from that case still believes her to be a suspect.
The Kdrama will follow their journey as they team up to solve a case that begins with a mysterious puzzle piece.
The Korean drama will be headed by “The Spy Gone North,” “Kundo: Age of the Rampant,” and “Nameless Gangster: Rules of the Time” director Yoon Jong Bin.
Kim Da Mi is set to play skilled profiler Yi Na, a member of the Criminal Analysis Team of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency’s Forensic Science Department.
She is quick to understand the psychology of criminals and their motivation.
Ten years ago, her uncle was murdered, and Yi Na was the only witness and suspect in the case.
Son Sok Ku will play the role of Han Seum, a Violent Crimes Team detective, who suspects Yi Na was involved in her Uncle’s death.
He is an elite police officer with a sharp mind and persistence.
He works on cases in an unconventional manner, which makes his fellow detectives confused and flustered with his actions.
