Set to premiere tomorrow (2nd), KBSs new Monday-Tuesday Korean drama “Love Song for Illusion” (written by Yoon Kyung Ah / directed by Lee Jung Seop ) is a fantasy historical romance about a man with two opposite personalities and the woman who loves him, a story that straddles the line between innocent love and fierce obsession, and is based on the popular webtoon of the same name.
One day before its premiere, ‘Love Song for Illusion’ will showcase not only a heart-warming romance, but also the conflicts of characters with hatred and ambition, amplifying curiosity by revealing the unexpected first meeting between Park Ji Hoon (Sajo Hyun, Aek Hee) and Hong Ye Ji (Yeon Wol, Gyera).
In the drama, Sajo Hyun is the prince of the Aegean Kingdom, unappreciated by his father, who ascended to the throne through a rebellion, and enjoys a small life as a fashion designer in a lowly costume shop.
Yeon-wool is a royal descendant of a fallen royal family, who lives as Gye-ra, a member of the Wind Knife troupe, out for revenge.
In a still released on Monday (1 January), we see Sajo Hyun and Yeon-wool confronting each other in a carpentry shop.
The fact that they are meeting in an unexpected place, with Sajo Hyun looking very puzzled and Yeon Wol dressed suspiciously, raises curiosity, and the fact that they are in an awkward situation from the first meeting, with Sajo Hyun falling over while hugging each other, creates a strange aura.
Not only that, but the two have unknowingly become enemies due to their bad blood in the past, and it will be interesting to see how their relationship changes after learning the truth.
