Since its premiere on Friday, November 24, MBC’s Kdrama “The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract” (created by Jang Jae-hoon Kim Sung-wook, directed by Park Sang-hoon Kang Chae-won, written by Ko Nam-jung) has been receiving a lot of attention due to the affectionate narrative of Park Yeon-woo (Lee Se-young) and Kang Tae-ha (Bae In-hyuk) that crosses past and present.
In the last episode, Park Yeon-woo and Kang Tae-ha attended Kang Tae-ha’s grandfather’s birthday feast and showed their side as a newlywed couple, followed by a scene where Kang Tae-ha reminisced about Kang Tae-ha and Park Yeon-woo in the Joseon Dynasty, raising questions about whether Kang Tae-ha remembers his previous life.
In the fifth episode, which will be broadcast on the 8th (today), Lee Se Young and Bae In Hyuk will share a romantic moment while wearing a hanbok and a suit, respectively.
In the Kdrama, Park Yeon Woo (Lee Se Young) confronted Kang Tae Ha (Bae In Hyuk) while she was washing clothes in the garden of Kang Tae Ha’s grandfather’s house. When Kang Tae-ha sees Park Yeon-woo wearing an off-white hanbok and with a messy haircut, he approaches her and says a few words, and Park Yeon-woo is overwhelmed with emotion and hugs him tightly.
Then, as Park Yeon-woo and Kang Tae-ha come face-to-face while lying on the ground in the garden, we are left to wonder what it was about Kang Tae-ha’s words that touched Park Yeon-woo and the events that led them to make out again.
Meanwhile, Lee Se-young and Bae In-hyuk’s “romantic” scene is a perfect combination of cinematography, lighting, art, and props. The cinematographer and lighting director made sure that the sun shone brightly on the scene to create a beautiful meeting between the two, while the art and props team worked hard to enhance the scene. Lee Se-young and Bae In-hyuk appeared in dainty hanbok and neat suits respectively, creating a picturesque scene.
The production team raised expectations by saying, “This scene with Lee Se Young and Bae In Hyuk’s scene together is such a beautiful scene that I dare to say it is one of the best scenes of “The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract,'” and “In episode 5, you will see the two of them gradually soaking in the hearts of each other like the drizzle dampens your clothes.”
Meanwhile, the fifth episode of MBC’s Korean drama “The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract” will air on the 8th (tonight) at 9:50pm.
